Tasting Notes

The wine is deep ruby red in color. On the nose, the wine has a complex aroma of red fruits and red pepper. On the palate, the wine is fruity and full bodied. The finish is long, with soft tannins.

Technical Notes

Finca Flichman Paisaje de Tupungato Red Blend is fermented for 20 days at 82º F. It then undergoes a maceration for 28-30 days. Before a final ageing of 12 months in French oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

This wine pairs perfectly with Comte cheese, Argentinian barbecue, and Caprese Bruschetta.

Paisaje expresses the unique identity of individual vineyard sites in Tupungato in the Uco Valley. The estate is located at 1,100 meters above sea level. The climate there is mild with cool nights, allowing the grapes to retain acidity while developing distinctive fruity character and herbal notes.
