Evaton Announces the Launch of Three Additional Montecillo Wines

We are very excited to announce the expansion of our line of Bodegas Montecillo wines. In addition to the traditional three tiers of Rioja wines, we now offer Edición Limitada (Limited Edition), Albariño, and Rosé wines.

Edición Limitada This is a limited bottle release, each numbered and signed by winemaker Mercedes Garcia, that showcases the authentic and everlasting taste of Rioja. Crafted with two ancestral varietals: Tempranillo & Graciano. This wine has recently received 91 points in Wine Enthusiast for its 2011 vintage!

Albariño  comes from D.O. Rias Baixas, a region in Spain that is renowned for its white wines made from the Albariño grape variety. You’ll find a very elegant nose, with aromas such as jasmine and orange blossom followed by notes of sweet apple and dried herbs with a saline background.

Rosé stands out for its unique aromatic profile, including violets, alongside hints of tart, red fruits. The wine is broad and enveloping with a well-balanced acidity, appealing notes of sweetness and an excellent freshness. The notes on the nose become much finer and more complex on the finish.

Established in 1874, Bodegas Montecillo is one of the pioneering wineries of the D.O. Rioja.
